Together Women have been busy celebrating International Women's Day and Women's History Month 2019.

Our Sheffield Emerge project worker, Sam Bramhall, represented Together Women on a diverse panel of inspirational women discussing intersectional feminism.

The event was hosted by SHSU FemSoc and Women's Rep Gabby Willis with panellists:

  • Anjana Raghavan (Lecturer of Sociology)
  • Charlotte Stanbar (Hallam Journalism student)
  • Evie Muir (SheFest)
  • Julia Hirst (Hallam Professor of Sociology)
  • Sam Bramhall (Together Women)
  • Sile Sibanda (Radio Sheffield presenter)

Together Women were also represented at Sheffield University's International Womens Day event with a stall and presentation / q&a session on our VIBE and Emerge projects.

Events and activities also took place during the first week of March at our Sheffield centre culminating in our International Womens Day celebration on Friday 8th March.
