Job Description

Together Women currently provides holistic services to vulnerable women and girls across Yorkshire, Humberside and the North West of England. We have women’s centres in Leeds; Bradford; Hull; Sheffield; and HMP New Hall. Our centres offer safe, women-only spaces from which key workers and sessional staff provide needs assessment, action-planning, support and case management for women referred by a number of different agencies. Centres also provide a wide range of group programmes, sessional training, workshops and self-help groups. Women can access mentoring support from trained peer mentors (former customers) and are encouraged towards personal growth and development. Our centres host co-located staff from other agencies (e.g. probation, alcohol/drug treatment, housing etc.) and we work closely with statutory partners in criminal justice, health and social care.
1x Independent Domestic Violence Advocate 30 hours per week (Scale point 26 £22,443 Pro rata) – Based at HMP New Hall

We are currently looking to recruit a Safe Lives trained (Previously CAADA) Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to work within HMP New Hall. The role will be supporting women who are experiencing Domestic Abuse or at risk of Domestic Abuse upon release into the community.
Our core working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm; however we offer flexibility around working patterns. On occasion there may be possible evening and weekend work,
• Hours 30 per week
• 25 days Annual leave Pro rata (plus public holidays)
